Homemade Macaroni & Cheese

Serving Size: 12-15

The Ingredients

  • Velveeta Cheese 16oz

  • Sea Salt

  • Black Pepper

  • Coconut Milk or Soy/Silk Milk (Another Milk Substitute)

  • (2) 1lb Barilla Pasta Farfalle/Bow Tie Vegetable Pasta

  • Extra Virgin Olive Oil


  1. Cut the cheese into small blocks

  2. Place a large pot on the stove

  3. Add 1-2 cups of Milk to the Pot

  4. Turn on the stove on Low to Medium-Heat

  5. Slowly begin to add the cubes of Velveeta cheese

  6. Constantly stir until the cheese is fully melted *Check for burning of the sauce by monitoring the heat of the stove*

  7. Add 1 tbsp. of sea salt and 2 tbsp. of pepper

  8. While waiting for cheese to full melt, add 8-12 quarts of water to a large pot *Add 1-2 more cups if you think more milk needs to be added*

  9. Add 1-2 tbsp. of extra virgin olive oil to the water

  10. Once the water is boiling, add the pasta

  11. Turn the stove to medium-heat

  12. Allow the pasta to cook for 11-13 minutes, with constant stirring

  13. Drain the pasta well

  14. Cover the cheesy mixture once done

  15. Place it onto pot holders and allow the sauce to cool down

  16. You can add the pasta directly to the sauce or put both of them into another bowl
